Recently, we had the opportunity to assist a homeowner in Woodland Hills, California. They were facing challenges with inadequate cooling in their guest bedroom. The goal was to create a comfortable environment for guests during the hot summer months.
The homeowner reached out to us after noticing that their central air conditioning system struggled to cool the guest bedroom effectively. Despite setting the thermostat lower, they found that the room remained warm and uncomfortable. This issue became particularly problematic when hosting family and friends.
Diagnosing Issues and Providing Mini Split Installations
We discovered that the guest bedroom was located at one end of the house, far from the main HVAC unit. The layout created significant airflow challenges. Additionally, there were concerns about insulation in that area contributing to heat retention.
We recommended installing a mini split single zone AC unit. This system would allow for efficient and independent temperature control specifically for the guest bedroom.
