We had the pleasure of working with a homeowner who needed a multi-zone mini-split system installed in El Monte. The homeowner reached out to us expressing frustration with their current heating and cooling setup. They lived in a two-story home where different rooms experienced vastly different temperatures.
The upstairs bedrooms were too hot during summer while remaining chilly in winter. During our initial consultation, we found a few issues with their existing system.
Seeing AC Issues & Resolving Them
Once we got to the home, we did a 22-point inspection on their AC system. We found that ductwork was poorly designed for even airflow distribution across multiple rooms. Some areas received little to no conditioned air at all. The homeowners expressed concern over rising energy bills as they relied on space heaters and window units to compensate for these temperature imbalances.
After discussing their needs and concerns, we recommended installing a multi-zone mini-split system. This service would save them more money than a mini split repair.
